Join the Social Workers Book Club

The book club will give members the opportunity to:

  • Read six interesting books related to social work per year and earn up to 18 CE’s (depending on their state licensure).

  • Connect with other social workers, and participate entirely online so the program can work with people’s busy schedules.

  • Earn 3 CEs for each book that you read and pass a short quiz with a score of 80% or more. Members should contact NASW Executive Director Becky Fast prior to signing up to get the discount code.

Social work safety online class

Everyday Self Defense offers a 6-hour online CE course that is approved by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (SP13-006).This course meets the safety awareness CE requirement for social workers licensed by the state of Kansas.

Based on JanetNelson’s live presentations, the Everyday Self Defense online course includes audio, video and a slide presentation. More information here
