“The Social Work Compact” 

Kaitlyn Bison, Wendy Funk-Schrag, LMSW, Rep. Susan Ruiz, LSCSW

This virtual zoom lunch and learn will cover the history of the Social Work Licensure Compact, the purpose of the compact, and the process for its approval in the Kansas Legislature.  

Kaitlyn Bison is a Policy Analyst at The Center of Innovation with the Council of State Governments

Representative Susan Ruiz, LSCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and the Ranking Minority Leader of the Health and Human Services Committee. She is also the sponsor of the legislation in the House.

Wendy Funk Schrag, LMSW, ACSW is the Vice President State Government Affairs for Fresenius Medical Care and has worked with legislative compacts across the nation. Wendy also served as the Board President for NASW-KS Chapter.
